ON TOUR: Peterborough, Cambridgeshire

The team has spent a wonderful couple of days at an arts festival in Peterborough.  It was so exciting to part of a bigger event and to be offering something so different.

We had audiences of up to 110 and were enthusiastically received.  As we were performing a number of times each day for two days we saw a lot of people coming back to see the show again, sometimes wth friends, sometimes alone.  It was very gratifying.

Special thanks go to the centre technician who supported us throughout.

Here's a little video of some of the wider festival and of our 'stay and play' workshops.

ON TOUR: Cockermouth, Cumbria

It shouldn't have been a big deal to travel up there — 2 or 3 hours driving maybe — but SNOW, BLIZZARDS, ICE, WHITEOUT!!  For Marcel, our little Guernsey boy, just seeing snow on the hills had him jumping up and down in his seat, but now he got to drive through it!  Bless.

The Kirkgate Centre was a minor challenge for us because we had to lug our gear up the fire escape to the beautiful first floor theatre but the staff helped us and made us feel very welcome.

Cheryl Martin was with us on this one.  She ran a workshop in the afternoon and performed her show ALASKA which was warmly received and lead to very open discussion with the audience following the show.

Adam performed with his signature commitment and was rewarded with an excellent response.  The subsequent engagement drew youngsters and adults to the front for a very special time of exploration and experimentation with movement.

Thank you to everyone who came, shared with us and help us out.
